Nutritional Food Program:
Golden Pantry and Thrift focuses on our “Nutritional Food Program”. The goal of the program is to guarantee families receive fresh nutritional food. The food pantry provides a wide variety of items including, but not limited to: fresh produce, canned goods, dairy products, baked goods, meat and vegetarian protein options, and beverages. Clients are eligible to receive personal care items such as toilet paper, laundry and dish washer detergent, toiletries, diapers, and feminine care items.Golden Pantry partners with Food Bank of the Rockies Food Rescue Program to receive weekly food donations from local grocery stores including King Soopers, Target, Safeway, and Natural Grocers.
To use our pantry services, clients must complete an application. Those requesting assistance must provide:
- A complete application
- Proof of Golden residency
- Proof of guardianship for children under 18
- Proof you live in Golden, specifically zip codes 80401 and 80403
Currently, our pantry only serves Golden residents living in zip codes 80401 and 80403. To become a client, please fill out the application form below. Please bring your completed application in person or email to info@goldenpantryandthrift.org with the subject line “Your Name – Client Application”
